  • In South Africa, SoHK is registered as a Non-Profit Company NPC (2017/084112/08) and a Non-Profit Organisation (268-627 NPO).

  • SoHK is also a registered Public Benefit Organisation, which means it is recognised by SARS as tax-exempt under Section 18a.

  • As SoHK is tax-exempt, individuals or companies can use their 'gift' to offset tax - we issue receipts which they can claim back at SARS.

  • We are also BB-EEE Level 1 organisation as 100% of our beneficiaries are black, and our turnover is <R10m.

  • Our financial statements are independently audited each year and we have 7 years of clean audits.

  • We are supported by both local and international foundations like the Irish Embassy, NZ Embassy, the FIFA foundation and EMpower Foundation, who require high standards of ethics and financial governance.
